We are still here, things have been very slow as many have noticed. Nothing really new to report, the mod that was going to add South American armies to fight the Spanish apprently has come to a halt, no word on when it might ressume. As for Officerpuppy's Crusades mod, he has been on vacation for three weeks and has recently returned, hopefully he will stop procrastinating and finish the mod.

If there are any bad links on the downloads, don't hesitate to notify anyone from the staff on our forums or via PM, we will try and clarify the situation.

Today we have a new mod released by FlyByU called Realistic Militia Mod. From the readme:

"This is a mod for those who think the Militia is to powerful, or
plain and simple unrealistic, as in; they can defeat trained soldiers
with clubs and pitchforks.This fixes that, and you will only have a problem with the more experienced militia but nothing like they were before."

You can find this mod in our database and ready for download.

In other news, there is a mod in development that adds some South American armies to the game which fought against Spain for independence.  Expect more news as it becomes avaiable.

Yes we are still alive here at TAFN. Sadly there was no new news from Pyro or Eidos over an expansion pack or a sequel.

Officerpuppy has been hard at work at trying to finish his IG: Crusades mod for IG. This mod will be something new and fun for everyone and not going to focus on 100% accuracy. Expect a release of this mod in the near future.

In other news, there is a new foreign forum that has opened up recently in a Russian IG website, the link to the website can be found our our forums while the link to this new forum will be provided at a later date. Be sure to stop by sometime and say hello to our fellow IG players and modders.

Well, it seems there will not be an IG2 or an expansion pack. Gamespy has released a list of all the games featured at this years E3, the article further states that there are some games they were not allowed to publish the title of and unless Eidos decides to keep a new IG game under wraps for whatever reason, it seems that our beloved IG will not see a new life after all.

Officerpuppy has released a new mod named the Irish Legion mod. This mod replaces French riflemen with soldiers of the Irish legion. This mod can be found in our database.

And yes the French army did have an Irish regiment, also Polish, Prussian, Egyptian and possibly others as well.

Lastly, in other news, Officerpuppy is currently developing a mod of a different kind, IG: The Crusades. While this mod is currently in development, some screenshots can be found on the official IG Eidos forums.

Officerpuppy has re-released his Uniform mod1 mod to include three new variations of the Egyptian mameluks. A minor update to a sound mod will be released later in the week.

The updated mod has been uploaded to our database.

For those waiting or curious about E3 this year, it will take place May 10th-12th at the L.A. Convention Center, and for those who wish to see an expansion pack for IG or IG 2, this is the place to watch closely.

After a break from modding, Officerpuppy has returned with a 2nd version of his Uniform mod. This mod replaces all Prussian inf and cav skins plus adds a new English rifle's skin.

Officerpuppy, otherwise know as Mr. has released two new mods plus an updated mod.

Flag pack5 has been released, in this mod, new flags for England, Denmark, Portugual, Batavia and an updated flag from Flag pack 4 is included.

The Uniform mod has had a minor update to include three Swedish soldiers.

And finally another new mod, Batavian naval flag. As the title suggests, this mod adds new naval jacks to all Batavian ships.
